This Swedish home is a perfect combination of rustic and modern. The style that I like the most. Whites, grays and wood make for a perfect clean and airy combo without feeling cold. It`s one of the spaces that look lived in but stylish at the same time, feels timeless and casually relaxed. I could move in right away.
The house was built in 1901 and now belongs to David Carlson and Madeleine Carlson Ahnell and is located in Falsterbo in Sweden. It was in a rough condition when they bought it in 1998 but the potential was there. Much was hidden below the surface and after tearing away layers of plaster and linoleum, the original construction and finishes were restored. When the renovation was done they started arranging the flower beds in the garden which not houses over 100 (!) types of roses.
